"My career has encompassed a diverse range of roles, but all have been within education and training, so I guess it is fair to say that I love working with young people. I have been at Northgate for 6 years now and each day I support young people by helping and encouraging them to explore the options that are available to them on leaving the Sixth Form. Working with students in Year 12 and 13, the majority of my time is spent providing one-to-one careers guidance, group careers sessions, arranging careers talks, helping students to find work experience opportunities and supporting students preparing to move onto university, an apprenticeship or employment after their time in Sixth Form. Watching students grow in confidence as they step towards their future pathway is something that I am proud to be part of. Northgate Sixth Form is a supportive and friendly place to work, which I believe is due to the brilliant staff and the wonderful
students that fill the Sixth Form Centre.
