At Northgate Sixth Form, we recognise that the children under our care have a number of challenges facing them in a fast-paced society. These challenges are many and varied, and different for each young person. 

Here you’ll find outstanding specialist teaching and excellent facilities, offering 32 A Level and two Level 3 qualifications giving a wide range of subjects and possible combinations of subjects.

We have a track record of success and over 240 students from more than 30 schools, in and around Ipswich and the Suffolk area, choose Northgate Sixth Form every year. 

Life at Northgate Sixth Form doesn’t end with the bell. Instead of lessons, lunch, lessons and home, we provide a wide range of further opportunities, both academic and extra-curricular. From debating to dance, there’s something for everyone. There’s the opportunity for students to take part in community service within our high school and work-related activities out of school.
